I am performing neo-burlesque with the artist name Sunny Symphony.

My style could be described as girly, dancy and organic. I find burlesque a lovely way of sharing moments of excitement, freedom and playfullness with my audience. Although contemporary dance and performance takes most of my time and effort, it is important for me every once in a while to perform also outside art institutions and outside the context of the "beaux-arts". I am also very interested in exploring burlesque with contemporary dancers as a way to broaden their range of performership.

 

I am very inspired by this flourishing and feminist genre of performing and also visit burlesque events quite regularly as a spectator.
